The workshops invite you to participate in profound play.
The play begins with breathing, movement, uninhibited sounding, and
eventually shaped sounding in the forms of primal chanting, poetic text,
and singing. There are no guitars, drums, or pianos in the room. The instrument
is the human voice.
As group size is small (minimum 6 - maximum 14) each group defines its
own dynamic. As the group progresses we will explore text and song drawing
upon the work of Shakespeare, Celtic rounds, traditional folk tunes, and
popular repertoire from Broadway to Billy Holiday. We will also experiment
with free flow writing techniques which will become your own lyrics.
Do something really nice for yourself right now as you are reading this
page.

Breathe in - keep your hand on your
